2007년 7월 19일 아프칸에 선교와 봉사활동을 하기 위해 입국한 단기팀원들 23명이 탈레반에 의해 피랍된 사건이 발생합니다.
사건 발생이 국내 언론에 보도된 20일부터 안티기독들은 기민하게 움직입니다.
당시 포털과 각 커뮤니티의 게시판과 토론방을 장악하고 사이버 강자로 군림하고 있던 안티기독들은 반기독교 정서에 편승하여 피랍자들을 저주하고 악담하고 비방하며 한국 개신교회를 비하하고 매도하는 게시물들과 악플을 쏟아내기 시작합니다.
이들은 단순한 반기독교 정서의 표출뿐 아니라 피랍사태 발생이 보도된 즉시 단기팀원들의 신상을 털고 이들이 활동한 사이월드 등 SNS를 뒤져 이들이 전에 이슬람 지역에서 활동한 활동 내역 중 선교와 예배활동 등을 수집하고 가공하여 탈레반에게 메일을 보내고 알자지라 등에도 선교활동 자료를 보냅니다.
이들 안티기독들은 마치 탈레반이 개설한 것처럼 영문으로 된 블로그를 개설하고 단기팀원들의 활동 영상자료와 함께 이들의 활동이 선교활동임을 강조하고 탈레반의 행동이 아프칸을 지키기 위한 정당한 행동이라고 고무시키는 자료를 올립니다.
이 블로그는 오랫동안 접속이 되도록 공개상태로 있다가 최근 아카이브 형태로 전환되었고, 자동번역이에 의해 한글로 전환되었습니다.

그러나 보육원을 설립한 지 얼마 지나지 않아 많은 한국의 선교단체들이 아프가니스탄에 와서 기독교 전도를 시작했습니다.
한국의 기독교 단체는 아프가니스탄에서 종교 분쟁을 불러 일으켰습니다.
결적적으로 칸다하르 주민들은 유치원의 한국인들이 기독교인이라는 것을 깨달았습니다.
뿐만 아니라, 여성 선교단원은 유치원을 돕는 아프가니스탄 청년에게 기독교 성경을 전달했습니다.
그녀의 이름은 '채우리'입니다.
칸다하르 주민들은 한국의 선교단체에 분노하고 항의하며 아프가니스탄을 떠날 것을 요구했습니다.
